Making Access Easier

Footpaths steps in Fife On some slopes steps are the only option and much more accessible than a steep, washed out path. The handrail provides security for many users and is fairly unobtrusive. The resting area allows people to take a breather and admire the views. All timber work is big and robust for maximum durability and lifespan.

Attention to Detail

Footpaths building at GlenvaleThe original path line to the left has been covered using turfs taken from the new formation tray and will be invisible once the old bridge has been removed. The new path (which is so new the surface has yet to fully consolidate) looks like it has been there for many years due to careful landscaping of the verges and shoulders. This work was done by an upland path contractor who provides this attention to detail as a matter of course due to the sensitivity of the environments they typically work in.
